I was very pleased to attend the contract signature ceremony for the FORUM #EarthExplorer satellite and system elements, as it represents an important milestone for the mission and the start of the implementation phase.
Well done everyone!
Last night on ISS for Cygnus! Vehicle is fully loaded, hatch is closed, robotic arm has grappled it for unberthing early tomorrow morning. Thanks for bringing us supplies, for the orbit reboost and…. last but not least… for taking our trash! #MissionMinerva
Today marks the start of our '@esa Member and Cooperating States' series.
Every day join us to visit from space a capital city of one of ESA's Member State or Cooperating State - with the help of the @CopernicusEU Sentinel missions.
Today we fly over #Tallin, #Estonia🇪🇪
📷 This NASA/ESA @HUBBLE_space Telescope image shows NGC 6569, a globular cluster (a stable, tightly bound group of thousands to millions of stars). This observation comes from an investigation of globular clusters close to the centre of our Milky Way👉 esahubble.org/images/potw222…
A shrinking Po River and brown fields are visible in this animation showing the area near the city of Piacenza, #Italy.
All images were taken by the @CopernicusEU#Sentinel2 mission in June 2020, 2021 and 2022.
The effects of the current heatwave and drought are striking 🌡️
We’ve got plants! Edible plants… but not for consumption this time, just science 😉
È tempo di raccolta! Queste sono piante commestibili, ma oggi non saranno non destinate al consumo...solo alla scienza 😉 #MissionMinerva
Great visit to @AirbusSpace today to discuss a critical @ESA contribution to #Artemis - the European Service Module (ESM), which is @NASA_Orion's primary power & propulsion element. We'll fly the first ESM on Artemis I, and I was able to see Artemis III and IV's ESMs this trip.
