During my last flight I was intrigued by the #storyofwater evident in views all over the Earth. Water is amazing stuff. It can sustain life and level mountains. Here are a few more pages in that book! Glaciers in Central Asia.

Designer shades, anyone? 😎 Spacesuit helmets have a visor with a special gold coating that protects astronauts from the sun's harsh rays. #NationalSunglassesDay

One of my favorite parts about being in orbit is getting to observe geologic features on Earth from a planetary perspective. A great example is the Grand Canyon – truly grand both from afar and up close, but Valles Marineris on Mars is 4x as long, 4.5x as deep, and 20x as wide!

As we reflect on the 50th anniversary of #TitleIX, we can't help but see its legacy in the @NASAArtemis missions. We can't wait to see the first woman land on the Moon!
50 years ago today, #TitleIX was signed into law. Thanks to Title IX, women like @Astro_Megan were able to pursue careers – STEM – traditionally reserved for men. Through @NASA's Artemis mission, we'll see the first woman land on the moon! @NASA_Johnson #TitleIXat50 #WomenInSTEM

The @Space_Station is an out of this world laboratory like no other. Astronauts can replicate experiments in space with one big difference: microgravity. Take a look at Station Science 101 to get a peek into the science being studied aboard the station. go.nasa.gov/2NJCxTq

Recently I had the honor of visiting the great Airmen of the 509th Bomb Wing @Whiteman_AFB, home of the legendary B-2 Spirit. We exchanged ideas about mental vigilance and crew coordination during long-duration missions and mutual use of the T-38 to augment readiness training!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers out there. My prayer is that everyone would be as lucky as me to have such great Father Figures in their lives. There’s no greater gift than being a Dad! I hope you all enjoy your day down there, on “the Good Earth!”
